Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine crystals and a vacuum to remove dead skin cells.
It can be used on the face, neck, chest, back and hands.
The aim is to reduce fine lines, minor scars, wrinkles and age spots, and make the skin smoother and younger looking. You may need more than 1 treatment.
Microdermabrasion should not cause any skin colour changes or scarring. It does not work for more significant scarring, stretch marks or deep wrinkles.
It may also not be suitable for everyone. Your practitioner will be able to tell you if microdermabrasion is suitable for you or whether an alternative treatment would be better.
What to think about before you have microdermabrasion
Be aware that microdermabrasion can be expensive and has its limitations.
Microdermabrasion
We offer Microdermabrasion from £45 per session. Microdermabrasion is a cosmetic procedure that uses fine crystals and a vacuum to remove dead skin cells. It can be used on the face, neck, chest, back and hands.
Radio Frequency
We offer radio frequency from £45 per session. Radio frequency is a skin tightening procedure where an electromagnetic device that generates heat to stimulate the production of collage, elastin and new skin cells is used. This is a nonsurgical facelift that firms and lifts sagging skin.
Galvanic procedures
We offer Galvanic procedures from £30 per session. A galvanic facial
uses direct electrical current to introduce water-soluble substances into the surface of the skin. This helps to improve absorption and is obviously therefore great for dry or dehydrated skin
Extractions
We offer skin extractions from £30 per session. Extraction is the process of clearing a clogged or compacted pore by manual or mechanical means.
Bio peeling
We offer bio peeling for £200 per session. Bio peeling has a gel-like structure and consists only of natural, environmentally friendly ingredients. It has a lifting effect, smoothes the skin, has an anti-scar and absorbent effect, restores the microcirculation of synthetic processes.
Chemical peeling
We offer Chemical peeling for £180 per session. A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells.
What microdermabrasion involves
Local anaesthetic is not necessary when having microdermabrasion.
The practitioner moves a handheld device over your skin. Tiny crystals remove dead skin cells and they're vacuumed away.
It usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes.
Afterwards
The side effects of microdermabrasion, such as redness and swelling, tend to be short-lived.
Your skin may be dry and flaky for a day or 2, or longer if you have sensitive skin. You may also have some slight bruising.
Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun afterwards, so you should avoid sun exposure for a few days and use sunscreen.

Instead of needing to shave every few days laser hair removal removes body hair and inhibits or delays future hair growth meaning it gives your skin a perfectly smooth feeling!
